What are some legit home based business ideas, that have very little start up costs?

I have resaerched this for weeks now and can only find Multi-Level-Marketing firms online. So I thought I would take it to the people and see if anyone has become sucessful from their own home and how easy or hard it was to do.
MLM normally benefit those that join first and scam the rest. The owner of the MLM benefit the most. The rest got to "run" in time.

They are all scams. Do yourself a favor and find a product you can sell on ebay from home. But do research and I mean a LOT of it first. Stay away from dropshippers, doba, etc. It’s not as hard as you think, but you have to do some work. Begin with things you know about, find out how much you can buy them for, and then see what they are currently selling for on ebay. Then you’ll know if there really is a PROFIT.

Most home based businesses are mlm. A lot of those, however, also allow you to make money in direct sales and such. I currently run a home based business and we have 5 areas of focus. You can chose one or more. I do not really discuss it too much in detail on here because of the uneducated (and I mean uneducated in home based businesses) people who respond to answers, so if you would like me to give you more information, pelase let me know! There is this new company that is great. It’s a totally brand new concept. I started a home based business with this international company that is 100% free and different. It’s legitimate and not like anything else around. It’s not MLM and it’s 100% scam free. There is nothing to sell, no meetings, and all the tools are free.
