In your opinion, what is the BEST home-based business?

Preferably along the lines of clerical jobs, but not limited to that at all.

Hi,
I have been with the Freedom at Home Team with Ameriplan since June of this year. I really like it. No I really love it. They have given me so much support and free training, free websites, free benefits for my family, free life insurance, discount of up to 80% at Office Depot etc. The biggest thing for me was that I was so depressed before I found this. I couldnt stand being bossed around and controlled by my boss.I wanted to have my own time. I was so tired of people making promises they didn’t keep.It took me about 2 months of going back and forth about making the decision to join.I didn’t even have the money to join. It was only $50 a month. I figured it would be much more money upfront if I opened a business and had to rent a space, buy equipment or pay an employee. There wasn’t anything to buy upfront (I didnt have to carry a stock or have parties)All I do is market by posting on Free online Classified Sites. I post about 10 ads per night. I virtually built my business for next to nothing. There are two ways you can do the business so I felt my choices werent taken away from me. Anyway after only 3 months I qualified for the Regional Sales Director position. My husband is really happy with the company and that is saying alot. He is the biggest skeptic. My residual income in 4 months is already 8 times the monthly fee. My monthly income with out residuals is 20x the monthly fee. And that is just in 4 months. It’s not going to be passive income until you get the residuals built up. That is your passive income. So you have to put 2 hours a day into it. But I do my business on a shoestring and I am seeing a good steady building return. My goals are to stay with it for the long term because I am already getting referrals and my phone rings alot everyday. In just 3 months I have a really busy business! i love it! The product we promote is really great and we dont do anything but direct people to how they can enroll. We dont have to ship product or maintain the members either. Our state of the art back office keeps tract of all of our earnings and residuals. Everything is tax deductible!
It is true ALOT of people fail in their own home business because they don’t want to "work" and they don’t "get" that connection, and they are habitual blamers. Many people who spend their lives searching for things to be offended by, will be failures in what they do. because they have negative attitudes. What I like about the home based business industry, is that it is a trillion dollar industry and therefore alot of focus is on this industry right now in terms of self development and coaching. You can’t be in this industry, be successful, and NOT work on yourself. What is so wrong with growing? Anyway, thats my opinion.

the site I got all my info from is homewiththekids.org

the lady who put the site together did an amazing job with this. click on work at home jobs, the other stuff will just distract you. there are ALOT of other categories, but those are the 2 I do best in.

Best home based business is … drop shipping items for sale. Selling products you never touch but represent you have them in stock and the vendors ship and stock the product.

You collect your money and order the product they ship it to the customer with your company name on the label …. thanks bank! 😉

For a home business, I would say that it need to be:

1- Low cost to start. Under 50$.
    2- Having lots of products.
3- Large compensation plan. Not just a cut on the sales.
4- Offer a background of at least 10 years in existence.
5- Easy to promote and easy to sell.
6- Offer the support when you have questions.

I have been in a lot of home business. And some of them are really great. You just have to know what you want first and then search the net. You’ll find what you want if you know what you are searching for. 🙂

You do have to be careful with any opportunity that makes claims of how much you can make. My opportunity allows me to let my wife be a stay at home mom as well as run a business from home. Your success will depend on first the company then yourself. the company has to be financially stable with a good management team. You have to be willing to work your business. If you do nothing you will make nothing. I dont care what anyone promises you. I have wasted a lot of $$ on schemes. I have finally found sucess and the ability to make real money. If interested feel free to email me. Ill include the link for general info which will also allow you to contact me and check out the company.

There are many home based businesses to choose from as well as direct sales. If you choose direct sales (IE Tupperware, Mary Kay, etc), make sure that it is something that you believe in or it will make it hard to succeed. I had a friend that use to do a beauty or "make-up" business and she didn’t even wear make-up. Kind of hard to make a believer out of customers if you don’t use the products yourself and are only in it for the money or socialization aspect.

I am currently a consultant for Private Quarters. It is a fairly new company (luxury linens) that hasn’t been saturated with consultants (yet) but has strong endorsements from celebrities as well as news programs and magazines. The compensation plan is great, the products are awesome and all the while I get to sleep in sheer comfort. I would love to tell you more if you are interested…drop me a line.
