Hi,
I would like to pick up a second job and I have been seeing advertisements for the cheesecake factory here in San Antonio. So, I am going to apply tomorrow when they open and talk to the manager on duty. I have been working in the restaurant business since 2007 and am currently employed at one of the top two upscale BREAKFAST businesses in the United States (The Egg & I) I am a server there, I have hosted at Chili’s and Le Peep. I also was a receptionist at a home based business so I do have customer service experience and very use to working with different types of people. What I would like to know is, if anyone has worked there before… What is the starting pay for the hostess/front desk coordinator?

A second job is very important to me right now and I need to be making a nice amount of money weekly or bi-weekly and knowing the pay would help me estimate my check amounts. So, if you have any idea about starting pay, that would be great. Also, for all of the managers out there… what are you looking for in someone who comes into apply? Any advice helps. Thanks 🙂

You won’t get rich there during your probationary period, but the opportunity is tremendous. If you work out, the long term potential is that you may decide to change your job. Go for it!
