anyone found a successful/legitimate home based business?

i am not necessarily looking for soliciations but rather success stories and ideas

thanks!

My husband and I wanted to really hit our debt hard. So we both decided to get a second job. He got a job at a local pizza place and I decided to join Scentsy. Because we had two kids at home, it wasn’t reasonable for me to work outside the home for my second job.

I am not a sales person at all and sometimes still wonder how in the world I ever got into this, but I am glad I did. I’m not only having fun, but we are really hitting our debt hard and going to be debt free before we thought. It’s really great.

I think it’s important to do your research and be sure you’re doing something you will love. It’s not worth your time and effort if it’s not something you’ll love.

Good luck to you. I hope you find something that works well for you.

Lisa

My ex-husband got laid off back in the 80’s and he did not have any special skills or education so he started his own home-based business, hauling trash and clean-up and it was a very profitable business. He learned with time and calling other haulers how to charge and he did very very well.

I have been involved in a home based business for 3 years and was able to quit my job 1 year ago and now I work part-time form my home, I can take care of my kids, attend events, take vacations when I feel like it and I am my own boss.
My husband works the business with me and our next goal is to retire him 4 years earlier.

I have started lots of home based businesses. And,,, a small percentage have worked. One of them is a small web business that deals with my favorite hobby and all my products are drop shipped to my customers so I dont have to stock anything. It took a while and a little trial and error before I finally got it to where it was pretty much on cruise control. Another…. I just strated about 6 months ago and it is going like gang busters. With it I truely think I’ll be able to retire in 5 years. If you would like some suggestions or like to check out my sites go to http://www.getrichwithcoffee.com. Just remember …Nothing Ventured…. Nothing Gained… Always have fun and enjoy what your doing and that will always show you success in life.

I know your not looking for solicitations but I recently came across a great home based business opportunity that doesn’t cost anything to join. They also supply leads for free if you just go through their training on the phone. If your interested check out the website at http://www.teamonewellness.com. Have you considered selling Avon from home? I was looking for something to do at home, that I can do on my own time… Selling Avon has been more than I expected… I am actually making enough money on my own to pay my Mortgage, Gas, Light and have some spending money left over. If interested… e-mail me (avon4letta@bellsouth.net) or visit my website (www.youravon.com/lettayoung)
