is edc gold.com a scam?

edc from what ive found is suppose to be a top rated home based business.have been takin before, so lookin for some info. thanks all

I looked into this one some time ago. EDC gold is something I would stay far, far away from. It used to be a straight aussie 2-up where you basically turn over your first two signups to the person above you. Now they have what they call ‘residual income’ also, but it looks like part of your monthly fee goes towards that.

If you are looking to have a ‘team’ or be trained by a ‘mentor’ (primarily the one above you), EDC does not lend itself to that concept. Most people in Aussie 2-ups do not want to take the time to train someone under them simply because once you give up your first two- then you breakaway, try to find 2 more for yourself, then they get 2, give theirs to you, breakaway, and the cycle repeats itself. Also any ‘business’ that you pay your money to an individual instead of straight to the company is bad news.

I was reading on the site again since they have changed the compensation plan – and there is a lot of double talk. The software being sold can be found other places on the internet and behind the scenes more emphasis is placed on recruiting than selling the actual product…..

Selling or marketing consumable products brings you repeat customers. In the case of EDC gold, there is no repeat purchasing, once you have bought into the level of product, then you have to go recruit someone else to purchase.

I wouldn’t do it. I would highly recommend you read a report written by a very well known MLM attorney the the MLM Legality test. You can find a link to it in the 2nd paragraph of my profile. If you’ve already been burned before, EDC gold is NOT where you want to look to try again.

If I can help further, just give me a shout.
