How can I find some quick (and easy) tips on creating my own website? Writing HTML code?
I want my own home-based internet business. Any ideas would be appreciated. I don’t want any MLM or pyramid scams, nor do I want anything that requires me to "become a member", etc. I want to create my website, sell a product/service, make money (legit money).

-Travelling hot spots website – they love travelling.
-Food recipe website – they love cooking.
-Entertainment website – they love music, movies, idols.
-Pets website – they love animals.
-Loves website – they are experts in dating.
and many more.

Make sure the products or services you are going to sell with an existing huge market. Do the market research before you start your business. A business won’t make money even he has a perfect product or service but there are no market require for that product or service.
There are many low cost online softwares can help you to determine whether your business with an existing hungry market or not.

Create a website.There are many online experts can help you to build up a business website just within 1-2 weeks time. You no need to know anything about web design or programming.
Just let them know what kind of business you wish to start up, they will help you to create all the business features and tools on your website and make it looks professional.

Now you have a best product to sell but your business still can not earn money if you don’t have a good marketing strategy. Takes a look at McDonald. McDonald is not selling the best burger in the world, but he own the most franchises all around the world. Look into Yahoo business, they have a free web-site creator called Yahoo Site Builder. Its pretty simple and can be customized easily. The only costs is hosting which is about $15 per month. Or try Office Depot.

Unfortunately, there really is no quick and easy way to start a web-based business. In some ways, it is more involved than starting a traditional store-front business. I would consult with your local small business center for advice. It may be a good idea to take classes on business, finance and web design. If you don’t have those skills it will be difficult to do it on your own. I suppose you could hire someone to do it for you but then your overhead cost will go up significantly.
Some people may suggest various work-at home opportunities including eBay. That route can make money but it will also cost a lot of money. The company behind eBay is the one raking in the stacks of cash off of eBay.

If you hire a website designer to create your website, it will be very pricey. May I suggest that you get your own Domain name through http://www.GoDaddy.com (less than $10 each name per year) and than use http://www.LowPriceBuilder.com to create your web site.
I use http://www.LowPriceBuilder.com for few years. They include Web hosting, Shopping Cart system, Feedback Form, Message Board, Autoresponder Page, customers password access page ….. etc. This would be the most inexpensive way to have your e-commerce web site to go online. The builder allows you to create your web page easily without knowledge of coding programming language.

I haven’t seen them recently, at one time there were many websites that taught HTML codes and other website building tips.
I learned a lot from those sites.
Do a web search for HTML or design own website, or something similar.
