I will be losing my job in November. What is a good home based business to pursue?

I have a Master’s degree in management but have been working in a low level job for the past 14 yrs…any suggestions on how to break into the market? I am considering a home based business, but only as a back up plan or to supplement my income. I work well with people and love a challenge. Health care adminstration is one area of interest to me…

With your education, the only thing that I can recommend that isn’t beneath you is to do part time (maybe an 1/2 hour a night till you find a better money making opportunity) is to have your own blog…you can share your knowledge (first hand and educational) on your field of expertise! I will provide a link below that has blog sites that are free (or even you own website)

alot of home businesses dont go anywhere or not enough money. If I were you I would go after something out there.

You can apply your experience by helping others as an online coach. Write, publish and sell ebooks on these subjects.

Whatever you choose, you know it’s not all a bed of roses. But if you make the decision to do it and stick to your plan you can make it work for you.

Start learning by signing up for all the newsletters, as you will get lots of information this way. But remember if it is going to be a business, you will have to invest. Same as with any business.

Hope this helps. Some good articles on this site you can read.

Check this out! By far the only place I have tried where things are as they say in the first place, no lies, no money out of your pocket. "’How to work from home. a company that lets folks work from home. The company is Alpine Access. You can only apply on line to work there"

if the link does not work, the company name is Alpine Access and they are in Colorado, you just need a PC and a small, basic office space at home.

With a computer at home and internet connection, you can start earning from home, without any investment. You should choose your work at home job according to your skills and time available.
The simplest work at home job is answering phone calls for companies like WorkathomeAgent, Alpine Access, Liveops. You will need a quiet enviroment at home without any disturbance. To apply you will have to complete an online application form on the companies website . A list of companies with websites is available at

Do you know anyone that travels? Go to my website http://www.danestravel.com to find out more. I am a referring travel agent with this company and get paid commission when anyone books on my site. I get discounts when I travel and can write that off as a business expense as well! Please contact me if you would like to know more. In fact, tell me what the downside of this company is if you can find one! Great company if you work well with people.
