Why do these home base business want you to pay to come and work for them?

I want to know is there any home based business that don’t need money for you to start with them. All the ones I have tried always need money for you to start and I just don’t have it. I’ll love to work from home but I just don’t have the money that they want, and I want why that is?

It’s a poplular misconception that home-based businesses, in general, and those that charge, in particular, are scams. This stems from two factors: The first is that when mlm’s first came on the scene an inordinate number of fraudulent companies that mirrored the business model also popped up. Second, is that people confuse them with home-based "jobs".

With a home-based job, you are working for someone else and your pay is limited by the amount of time that you put into it.

A home based business is just like any other business, you are your own boss not an employee, there are start up fees (usually for product, advertising media, websites, or licensing fees), and the earning potential is only limited by your imagination and motivation. Try buying a McDonald’s franchise for free.

I’m sure that there are a few home-based businesses that have no start up fees. In fact, the home-based business that my wife and I own, consists of two different business opportunities. one of which has a start up fee, while the other does not.

http://shellcash.com/members/register.php?ref=dafranchise0309 is a great way to make extra money. The site will ask you to complete surveys and offers and those companies will then pay you. Unlike most work at home jobs this is one is really legit and actually sends real checks to you at the end of the month. I have already made over $2500+ from this website and keep it mind that everything is free.I will love to answer any questions that you might have regarding this just contact me:

Most of these businessses are trying to get really cheap labour, presumably this way the get around the minimum wage law. I am sure there are good work at home jobs but I am equally sure you will rarely find them through these people who are trying to recruit you. I don’t know where the good home work jobs come from but I expect its word of mouth. Someone in a factory hears his boss is looking for someone to assemble his goods. He tells his boss his wife’s sister or whatever is just the person he is looking for- hey presto. I know a girl who sticks labels on clothes hangers for one of the major stores. She does thousands of them and I expect its hard work, but good, respectible money.

There are "some" home based businesses out there that charge you a fee for administration work on their end to get you signed up and in some cases incorporate sample products into that fee. Not ALL fees are scams, but realize that the majority of them ( the businesses ) have fees that DO go to the person that is recruiting you.

It’s not all black and white – but if someone is offering you a "job" for a fee, then yes those are always either a) a scam or b) the fee for information you could attain yourself in order to get those "jobs".

I’ve recently come across a business with NO fee that is quite simple and you can check it out in my profile if you wish – the business is the second link in my profile – the first link is a review of it compared to another.

I think most people who have never been in business for themselves don’t realize to be a bus. owner that you only need to work 1/2 of the day, you just get to choose which 12 hours you like.
They only see what they want to see and think it’s so easy!
Everybody wants it for free, not giving any thought to someone originally spent money to set it all up and usually much more than they want to include them.
Probably the biggest misconception there is, is that you publish a webpage and that’s all they need to do.
I hate to burst their bubble, but nothings FREE and it all takes work and usually lots of it.
I am connected with a company that will furnish you with your own website that you can work with. Contact me by email for details.

Hi baby girl! I think we have communicated before on this subject. Barry got it right. There are fees due to what you are receiving- a business. I do understand there are scams out there but there are also legit mate opportunities. Do not run scared when something you are looking into has start up fees. Just find something that interest you and you can see yourself doing. Then do your research! You can figure out what is real or a scam. It took me tons of time researching before I found the right business for myself. But it was worth it. I love what I do. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. I’ve been through it so I know what you are going through.

Usually that’s how they make a bit of money off of you and get you started. Since it’s called "home based business" it’s a business, not a job. For example I work from home and make commissions. I didn’t pay anything to get started because it’s a job. I am a recruiter providing ESL teachers overseas and make a commission for each placement. I don’t make tons of money but I can make some money from home taking care of my baby. That’s pretty good! So check out to see if there are any kind of commission based jobs. Also our company is hiring too. Thanks and good luck!!!

All legitamate businesses will have start up costs – no exceptions.

If you started a traditional business, you would have start up costs like:
    franchise fees
    location – rent
    utilities
costs of running the business – inventory, supplies, machines, shipping costs, telephone, faxes, licenses, annual contracts involved etc…

When you figure it all out, you’re looking at about $20,000 + to start a traditional type of business and that’s on the very low end of the scale.

    All of this takes money.

Network marketing or direct selling type of businesses are a very affordable and cheap way to be in business for yourself without the huge expense as a traditional brick and mortar or franchise type of business.

Network marketing type of businesses run anywhere from $50 – $1000 to join depending on what level you are participating in.

Direct selling type of businesses will run anywhere from $100 – $3500 to join.

Still, when you compare it to a traditional type of business, and you consider the fact that there is no inventory to carry, no overhead to deal with, no shipping costs to deal with (the company ships directly to the consumer), you are getting a bargain for the potential money that could be made.

Most network marketing and direct selling type of businesses have a huge money making potential.

Traditional types of businesses earn from $50,000 to $120,000 per year on average.

Network Marketers have a potential to make anywhere from a few hundred dollars per month to $50,000 per month and more depending on the pay plan and how hard they work their businesses.

    Something to consider…..
