What would be a good home based business to start for someone who is disabled?

I would like to start a home based business because I am unable to leave my home for the most part. What would be a good business to start and something that does not cost a lot to get started in?
A) I can not plug a oxygen tank into a car 24/7. B) If I could answer that I would not be looking for suggestions. Thanks.

There are several good businesses that you can start at home as long as you have a computer and internet access (I’m assuming you do if you posted this question from home). They don’t take a lot of money to get started and you can learn and expand your business to fit your needs.

Think of these as "micro" businesses. For instance, if you offered a service to write reviews or post links or proofread articles, there are platforms out there where you can post these services for free. You pay a slight commission when someone buys them, but all you do is post the ad and provide the service, everything else is automatic.

If you want to expand into other areas such as writing or websites, there are many avenues available these days.

Without knowing what you are good at and what you enjoy how can anyone possibly know? Only you can answer this question.

Try getting into the Gift Basket and Flower business. There are companies out there that don’t require you to have parties or travel. Everything is done online. They make and ship the baskets and all you have to do is market your website. With social networking it is very possible to do this and make a decent amount of money without leaving your home. Of course with any business it will take time and it is not a get rich scheme. There is a small investment but well worth it. There’s lots of home based businesses. You need to find one that fits your abilities. What can you do well? What are you willing and not willing to do? (That not only includes legal vs. illegal, but do you want customers coming to your house, which means it has to be clean all the time? And there are other questions you need to figure out.) How can you make money doing that?

If anyone runs down a list of what you can do at home, chances are good, what you’re skilled to do won’t be on the list. It’s up to you to do the research, since you’re going to have to learn how to do it anyway from the busniess and marketing angles.
