Is there a market for a home based business as a Personal Assistant , in Pasco County Florida?

I would be offering to running errands, office help, car repairs, meeting contractors, repairmen.

Being a personal assistant is a great choices out of the many legitimate home based businesses available. You can run such a business locally in your city, or offer yourself as a virtual assistant online. Good virtual assistants can command quite respectable pay rates these days upwards of $40 an hour. Of course, you may have to start a little lower down the food chain than that, but if you’re sick of your current job and it doesn’t pay particularly well, even earning $15 an hour from home can be an improvement.

What can you do as a personal assistant? Again, that will depend on whether you’re operating locally or internationally. If you’re serving local clients, your roles may be quite diverse. It can be anything from researching and writing through to picking up drycleaning and running errands. Just make sure you lay down exactly what you will and won’t do with each client you take on. Don’t allow your clients to walk all over you – that defeats the purpose of self-employment.

According to http://www.entrepreneur.com
Startup Costs: $2,000 – $10,000
Home Based: Can be operated from home.
Part Time: Can be operated part-time

Independent personal assistant services are becoming extremely popular and widely utilized by business owners and corporate executives that occasionally have a need for a personal assistant, but not on a full-time basis. Duties performed by a personal assistant include everything from booking appointments to returning telephone calls and, in some cases, even picking up dry cleaning. Additionally, most personal assistants are required to have computer skills as well as their own computer equipment and often travel is required to accompany the client to trade shows, business functions, and out-of-town business appointments.
