Home based business ideas??
My wife and I are looking to start a home based business. We would like to stay at home and work. We need enough income to support the family. Not sure what to start up. We would like a few ideas. What all is involved? What equipment do you have to buy? Software? Tools etc?

My husband and I started our home based business over six years ago. It well supports our family. We have four children ages 10, 6, 3 (almost4) and 1. The two older ones with their after school sports and everything else kids want these days. LOL
There are so many different home based businesses out their it’s just incredible. Problem is you have to chose one that is right for you. Without knowing what things you and your wife are interested in doing, it’s kind of difficult to point you out to ones that would be of interest to you.
There’s not a whole lot of room on here, so I’ll tell you of a couple of different ones that you may like. I also created a blog on my 360 page on home based business’s. There are over a half a dozen different ones to take a look at. Each one involves different things. If you find one you like, contact the person who wrote it.
The home based business that my husband and I got involved in is a 15 year old world wide company. They offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway, but they can now have these same services at a lower cost. Saving them money. Services such as local and long distance telephone, Internet, video phones, digital, VOIP, Satallite TV, and all the major cellular phone providers like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Alltell, Nextell, T-Mobile etc have partnered up with them too.
How many people do you know, or know of that has one or more of these services? You save people money on these services that they are most likely already using and paying for anyway, and every single month they pay these bills, you make a percentage of. The amount of money in this industry is just incredible! If you could make a percentage on everyone’s telephone bills, do you realize how much money you could be making??
Theirs really no "equipment" like a tractor or anything like that. You don’t have to go and put up phone lines or anything. Your basically just refering people over to the company and saving them money on the services that they’re already on, or offering services that they may not have but want. It may sound complicated but it’s actually very simple to do. We save people up to 75% on cellphones. up to 50% on their landlines Internet ect.
The only thing you really need is a basic telephone, which can also be your own personal customer. You get paid on your own services and it’s also a tax write off. If you have a computer, you can use that as well, (I think you do since your on yahoo), but anyway the only thing you really need to have is a phone to make calls on. No need for software or special tools or anything else, just a telephone to use cordless so you can move around the house if you need to. Standard phones work just as well too. LOL

I am an eBay affiliate marketer. (I promote products for eBay so I get paid by them. It is commission based. Cost of business is around 150 to start $97 for software. The rest is monthly fees such as hosting, domain etc. (and I pay for my training around $30/month) that is where the most of the monthly fees come from.
It is not for everyone. It requires at least 20 a week of work, but you can make a nice money! You need to know how to upload files to hosting etc. So little computer techy skills, but software does most of the work for you if you know how to follow the instructions.

It has allowed us the freedom to spend time together, enjoy and participate in the kids activities, baseball & ballet classes etc. Not have to worry about were the money is for the bills and build our retirement. One of the newest home based businesses I found on career builder is http://executivehomebody.com They give you everything you need to start. My wife and I started it about 2 months ago and we had a pretty slow start until this month. We have made 6 sales this month. Each sale is a 1000 bucks. But I’m not going to lie, we worked our buttski’s off for the first 2 months and it gets easier once you know what you are doing. Like any business, it costs money to start.
