Sounds like you are pretty new, I would suggest go to the public library and they have many good references about business loan and start ups. Best part is, it also has names in City Business Chambers with many experienced people whom you can start the dialog and they will point you step-by-step. The library also has a real good grant info section which can help guide you as well. All the best

The lack of credit history does not mean that you can not get a bank loan. The important thing is that you don’t have any "negative" items on your credit. Evictions, unpaid accounts, judgements. Those will stop you from getting the loan. So go to the bank and explain your business. They might insist that you leave some money in one of their bank accounts so they could recoup some of their money if you default on the loan.
If you go to a venture capitalist to get money, they take 51% ownership of your business ( that is how they protect their investment). You can find them in the Wall Street Journal ( I don’t work for WSJ) which is free at your local library.
